The Saturday that we made these apple donuts, it was the last Saturday before Paleo February, so we decided to go out with a bang and channel our inner Pioneer Woman. Since then, I’ve decided that our family food motto is “go hard or go home” because whether we’re eating healthy or not, we don’t do food half way. This was also the morning that Andy inched our car down the snowy driveway. I’m not going to reprint the recipe here because the Pioneer Woman does a way better job than I do at documenting and we followed the recipe exactly so if you want to make them, you should head over to her site. Nevertheless, I still documented our rendition for your reading/viewing pleasure.
Our evaluation in the end: Andy says that this might be his favorite thing that we’ve made so far. They were so good that we had to stop ourselves from devouring them all in one sitting. Stay tuned for a paleo competitor that will make an appearance on Saturday Morning Breakfast in a few weeks. 🙂
