At the beginning of the week, the administration at the university sent out an email encouraging the faculty and staff to dress up for Halloween. I was already planning on re-wearing last year’s costume to work today before I even got the email. An IT person as R2-D2… I felt like it was just too perfect. Last year Andy joined me as C-3P0 but this year he was wearing his now-normal costume of studious medical student. He spent about four hours in the anatomy lab so that’s suitably creepy, right? (Probably only to us non-medical folk though.)
We didn’t buy any candy and don’t have our front lights on, so hopefully no one decides to scale our hill and attempt to get some treats. I’m not sure what we would give them, the only candy we have in the house is the last half of the last chocolate bar from big stash of German chocolate that Andy’s brother sent us. Happy Halloween kids, want a frozen crock-pot meal for the road? Your mom will love us! Oh well.
Happy Halloween! or All Saint’s Eve! or Reformation Day! (depending on what you fancy.) 😉
Much Love,
Sarah
Linking up with Clan Donaldson and Cedars and Tiny Flowers! Two link-ups at once, a new record!
I hope you saw the pictures from Trunk or Treat at Heritage. The Rabon family and the entire Jones family were decked out in Star Wars regalia!
Ahhh I LOVE it! Chris was super impressed. We were going to have Ryan be an ewok until we saw the hobbit costume idea 🙂
Thanks! I think it my favorite costume I’ve ever made. Andy really wants to have themed Star Wars family costumes every year. He was so excited and inspired when he saw the Star Wars Verizon commercial.
