Thanksgiving – for me it is the beginning of the time of year when I remember all of the good things in my life. We spend time with family and friends and recall, however briefly, that it is the people, not the things, in our lives that make life worth living. I think that for most people, this sentiment lasts from Thankgiving until Christmas, but what makes it end? I guess we go back to work and school, and in the hustle and bustle of life where we’re working to earn/get/buy things, we forget what we truly have. Based on what I know of the world, I’m not the only one that this happens to every year. Even in the worst of situations, I am rich because I have Christ as my Savior, and the Holy Spirit to guide me. How often do we really think of it in those terms?
Thankful
